The districts around Fremont Street in Las Vegas have the greatest hole-in-the-wall diners, hands down. Sure, the gaming, libations, and music get most of the attention, but we think the Las Vegas eateries food options are just as memorable. That’s why we at Vegas Pub Crawler always make a grub stop on our tours. Here, we’ve listed some of our favorite Downtown eateries.
The Best Las Vegas Eateries
Nacho Daddy
There’s something about nachos that makes them go great with beer. Even if you don’t like to mix lager and food, Nacho Daddy always hits the spot. Chef Mike Aragonez has finally taken nachos off the appetizer menu and given them the spotlight. The festive bar also features over 60 tequilas.
Gold Spike
The Gold Spike has a storied, nearly 30-year history as a Downtown hotel. In 2013, owner Tony Hsieh closed the casino and commissioned a remodel that transformed the joint into a hip restaurant and bar. While the “Living Room” and outdoor patio are the property’s centerpiece, the 24-hour Grille is perfect for a late-night snack. Their all-night breakfast is a great way to end a night of drinking.
Bar+Bistro
This charming restaurant is connected to an art gallery located in the Downtown Arts District, which is about a mile south of Fremont Street. The menu is filled with jams that will make any foodie drool. Stop in for the weekend brunch (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.), and order yourself a cinnamon bun French toast.
Come for the Food, Stay for the Drinks
There is no topping these Las Vegas eateries! They offer, not only the best food options, but the best drink prices in Las Vegas. Here’s a good list of bars and restaurants to start your Vegas Pub Crawl.
